We are progressing as a full-service provider in the medical transportation industry designing our services to satisfy the immediate and future needs of our customers. With a 24-hour central communications center, we can meet all requests for service.
BLS Ambulance Service
A common misconception is that ambulances are used only in “emergency” situations but much of the work done by ambulance service providers is in a non-emergency environment. Our qualified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Emergency Vehicle Operators (EVO’S) and Stretcher Attendants provides our community with a wide range of support measures. They are highly trained professionals mandated to ease the transition of a patient from one medical setting to the other through compassion, understanding, and professionalism We mainly provide transportation for patients who need to be moved from hospital to hospital or other facilities (interfacility).
Stretcher Service
This mode of transportation is commonly used for hospital discharges, hospice services, doctor appointments, and outpatient diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services. It is appropriate for clients confined to a bed or unable to sit upright in a wheelchair for a sustained time but who do not need immediate medical attention or monitoring during transport
Our drivers undergo a thorough background screening and are trained extensively in safe driving, customer service, disability sensitivity, proper lifting and transferring techniques, stretcher securement procedures, and much more. All drivers are certified in Stretcher techniques, first aid and CPR, and many of them are certified First Responders. Medlink trained professionals will transfer the client to and from the stretcher, secure them in the vehicle, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the transport to their destination
Same day services are available, but we recommend ordering your service in advance whenever possible
Medlink provides Ambulance Services including Basic Life Support, Stretcher, and wheel-chair Ambulance transportation to and from medical facilities, private residences, nursing homes and retirement centers.
